Where is it being implemented?                                                                                                                     The SGP is being implemented in the Amazon region of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

What activities are being financed?                                                                                                               The main activities that SGP is funding include:

• Life and management plans
• Training in management, finance, and project monitoring
• Strengthening land management
• Sustainable management of natural resources
• Strengthening of management and communication skills
• Management of bilingual communication tools
• Strengthening of organizational structures for co-management of communal reserves and sustainable development of neighboring indigenous communities
• Participatory development activities

What are the amounts and time spans of implementation?

Total funds for SGP are U.S. $ 600,000. Financing for projects ranges from U.S. $ 22,000 to U.S. $ 50,000, and will be implemented over a time period of 6 to 24 months.
