• Policy Dialogue Events As part of the work of the Support Unit, the Infrastructure Working Group (IWG) and the Territorial Management Working Group (GTGT) have organized regional and national dialogue and training events. Events organized by GTI aim to develop strategic responses to minimizing and managing the impacts of infrastructure projects on local populations and ecosystems of the Andean Amazon, while  GTGT seeks to strengthen policy frameworks, institutional and legal support for indigenous territories, and models of biodiversity conservation.
• Capacity Building The Support Unit has organized a series of courses on varying subjects to meet the needs of partners. These courses are being conducted in the 4 countries where ICAA works are coordinated and supported by ICAA consortia.  The courses are organized based on different methodologies: case studies, exchange of experiences, distance, etc.
• Partners' Meetings  Each year the Support Unit organizes an ICAA Partners' meeting in which partners meet for a week to share experiences and stories, learn from each other, and strengthen alliances.
