The Conservation Consortia and the Support Unit
ICAA brings together 20 unique organizations under the umbrella of four conservation consortia and a Support Unit to achieve regional conservation impacts that add up to more than the sum of their parts.
The ICAA Conservation Consortia work with local communities in priority regions to strengthen capacities for conservation. They work on the ground through a variety of approaches including landscape management, participatory land-use planning and sustainable product cultivation and marketing.
The Support Unit coordinates and articulates the efforts of the consortia, aids in the administration of the project, and provides services in communications, training, performance monitoring and knowledge management, as well as promoting public-private partnerships and administering a Small Grants Program.
